All Blackhorse Troopers, family, and friends of the Blackhorse are invited to participate in the Annual Veterans Day wreath laying ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D. C.
Our group will gather at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021; the ceremony will begin
shortly afterwards.
Please meet at 9:45 a.m. near the statue of the Three Soldiers, and look for the Blackhorse Patch Wreath. We will make some introductions, say a few words, and then informally carry the wreath to the apex of the Wall.
The Blackhorse wreath laying began in November 1986. This ceremony is organized and sponsored by the 11th Armored Cavalry’s Veterans of Vietnam and Cambodia.
